Clouds of Melancholy 2 title

Two nights ago I have started working on Clouds of Melancholy 2 that I was thinking of for some time now. I have finished storyboards today and written some parts of Censor’s monologues. I’m still undecided where the music should go.
Game begins where the previous one ends, expanding a bit the very last moments of Clouds of Melancholy and pushing Mr. Censor forward, right into his destiny (sounds so nice :)).

What I think is that this time it will be more understandable experience (while still poetic).
First part was an experiment with visual novel genre. This time I would like to create more of an art game, with a few puzzles, strongly story-driven, still about one-man experience, about something Inside Censor’s mind and heart, although this time it is going to be much more about the empirical world rather then the interior one.

A few facts:
* Incidents in the game will take place in 703 year AG (just like CoM).
* Game will receive an epilogue taking place 17 years later (720 AG).
* You will find out of Mr. Censor’s full name
* Mr. Censor meets a mysterious girl
(trust me, you are going to like this young lady as she will appear some more in my games)

Donate and Support

I added two things to the website lately. One is the text. It is pretty small, but it looks pretty this way. I can’t make it not pretty because, well, this would go against aesthetics but I can make it bigger the way it will still remain pretty. All you have to do is to pinpoint it with your mouse cursor. A detail, but I like the effect :)
And second (importante!) thing is that I decided to go with lifelong subscription for just 15 bucks. Click on the little sadmoons to find out the details but generally speaking you get everything that is “for donators only” until the end of your life (or mine ;)).

Also, little update on “The Moons”. You can find two new screenshots in IN PRODUCTION. Game is fairly small and I hope to finish it in next two weeks (cooperation with noonat :)). Fun to play AND explains the creation of Sadmoons world. Pure awesomeness!

New things

I’ve added two new links.
IN PRODUCTION is sends you to a jpg file with brief information (incl. graphics) about what is currently, well, in production :) while THE WORLD consists of information about Sadmoons’ world. The first added thing is the Timeline that currently includes dates from three games. You are able to find those dates in games as well but Timeline should help you understand the events.

And, as you are able to see in IN PRODUCTION there is a new game I work on :) The Moons

Preview of the new website

Still not finished but nice, tiny, wee, petit, little and more personal.
I will be adding some stuff soon. Now I finish graphics and script to Mackenzie, think about expanding Scarecrow’s script (just a little bit), and, well… writing ideas for Clouds of Melancholy 2 :)
