
Two nights ago I have started working on Clouds of Melancholy 2 that I was thinking of for some time now. I have finished storyboards today and written some parts of Censor’s monologues. I’m still undecided where the music should go.
Game begins where the previous one ends, expanding a bit the very last moments of Clouds of Melancholy and pushing Mr. Censor forward, right into his destiny (sounds so nice :)).
What I think is that this time it will be more understandable experience (while still poetic).
First part was an experiment with visual novel genre. This time I would like to create more of an art game, with a few puzzles, strongly story-driven, still about one-man experience, about something Inside Censor’s mind and heart, although this time it is going to be much more about the empirical world rather then the interior one.
A few facts:
* Incidents in the game will take place in 703 year AG (just like CoM).
* Game will receive an epilogue taking place 17 years later (720 AG).
* You will find out of Mr. Censor’s full name
* Mr. Censor meets a mysterious girl
(trust me, you are going to like this young lady as she will appear some more in my games)

Ah, and he even gets skin and eye color now.
